Everyone wants to catch a runner early. Nobody puts the months underwater in the victory screenshot! I went through @warren_muppets’s $LIT journey on Centaur, and the path was more interesting than the green number. The starting point is a December 30 post about the Lighter airdrop. Centaur marks LIT at $2.85 around that post. Then look at what followed:👇 >$0.78 in March. >$5.59 in September. >$3.20 when I recorded this. The card shows +96% from the tracked entry to the peak. Easy to look at that and think, “nice call.” But would I have kept the same view after watching $2.85 become $0.78? What would I have needed to see to justify staying in? That’s the useful part of replaying someone’s journey. You can put their original words next to the chart and ask what you would have done with the information available then. One distinction matters: entry-to-peak performance doesn’t tell us what someone actually banked. The post shown also doesn’t establish that they held through every drop or sold the top. My takeaway from this one: before copying someone’s entry, work out what would make you exit. Being early means very little without a plan for what happens next. Watch the card. Would you have made it through that dip?
