The level of sensationalism coming out of parts of the Turkish media, and the international outlets recycling these headlines, is downright pathetic. They’re portraying Richard Heart as some convicted international criminal, plastering billion-dollar crypto fraud allegations across headlines while conveniently leaving out critical facts. The U.S. SEC lawsuit against Richard was DISMISSED in 2025, and the SEC chose not to pursue it further. The Finnish allegations remain unresolved. An Interpol Red Notice is NOT a conviction. Yet the media continues to parade images of luxury watches, cash, jewelry and weapons, painting the most sinister picture possible before the legal process has even concluded. This is the same individual who helped raise over $26 MILLION for medical research, created functioning blockchain ecosystems, and contributed years of work to the cryptocurrency industry. You don’t have to agree with Richard, like his personality, or support his projects to recognize how disgraceful this style of reporting has become. It’s astonishing how quickly allegations are turned into public verdicts, how easily context gets discarded, and how little regard some journalists have for the reputation of another human being. This isn’t responsible journalism. It’s sensationalism disguised as reporting. Report the facts. Let the courts determine guilt. Stop treating someone’s life and reputation as disposable clickbait. Innocent until proven guilty should mean something.
