A wallet signature can prove a connection. It can’t tell you which trading activity deserves credit. @zerufinance has added BasedOneX to Zaps. According to the announcement, the 0.50 USDC linking fee is gone, and account linking now uses a signed message. That’s useful for connecting an existing record without treating every transaction as qualified activity. Zaps says ordinary wallet linking is read only. Its published campaign rules then separate submitted volume from volume accepted after verification. I like that these are two separate checks. One establishes which account you control. The other asks what actually happened in that account. I’d be interested in seeing how the BasedOneX integration presents qualifying and excluded activity. Easier account linking is a nice update, but clear scoring would tell users much more.
