🔥 @MorganStanley to tokenize US equities and Treasurys through @The_DTCC's service #MorganStanley has started using the Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation’s #DTCC new tokenization infrastructure to tokenize real-world assets, joining several financial institutions that gained access to the service following its launch last week. The move follows Morgan Stanley’s plans to introduce support for tokenized equities on its alternative trading system in Q1 2027, pushing back its earlier H2 2026 target. Morgan Stanley is not the only firm pursuing tokenization. The New York Stock Exchange and its parent company, Intercontinental Exchange, are also developing a tokenized trading platform.
