📉 Riot Platforms sold 20,264 BTC this year and now holds only 2,418 BTC. 📊 Proceeds are being directed toward AI data centers. 🏦 Hut 8 sold 3,102 BTC. 📈 Using these proceeds, Hut 8 is repurchasing $250 million in shares. 💡 Miners are increasingly treating their Bitcoin as a capital source rather than a long-term reserve. Where companies once inflated their balance sheets with BTC, they are now funding data centers and supporting their own stock prices. This is rational—but it still creates selling pressure that the market must absorb. To me, this is less a bearish signal and more an indication that miners’ business models are shifting. ⚠️ I’m monitoring whether other publicly traded miners follow this pattern.
