The next challenge for onchain finance isn’t just getting more assets onchain. It’s figuring out how to trust the information behind every decision. I’ve been following @primus_labs since its earlier stages, and one thing I’ve noticed is how its direction has gradually expanded. Back in 2023, the focus was largely on zkTLS research and making web data verifiable. Since then, the work has moved toward developer infrastructure, AlphaNet, Proof of Reserves and integrations across the onchain ecosystem. Now, the bigger picture is becoming clearer to me. Think about a lending protocol checking someone’s creditworthiness, or a prediction market relying on information from the real world. Both need reliable evidence, but neither should require users to expose every piece of personal or financial data. That’s where the combination of zkTLS and FHE becomes interesting. zkTLS can help verify information from existing web sources, while FHE enables computation on encrypted data. They address different parts of the same problem: making information useful and verifiable without unnecessarily exposing it. The collaboration with @CournotProtocol is another interesting step, bringing verifiable web evidence into prediction markets while opening up possibilities for private credit and onchain finance. Proof of Reserves and BNB Chain integration also show why this matters beyond theory. Financial applications need more than transparent transactions. They need evidence that the underlying information can actually be trusted. After following this project through multiple stages, I think Primus is working toward something much bigger than data verification.
