Most people refer to Epictetus as a slave. I’ve been reading his book closely and taking extensive notes for the past two or three days—I’m definitely going to make it one of my core, go-to books. What I’ve realized is that Epictetus, despite being called a slave, was freer and happier than most people alive today.
