TL;DR

Lido Aragon Vote #205 passed and executed on September 21 at 13:45 UTC.

The package includes LIP-37, a DepositSecurityModule v5 upgrade and operational-key rotations.

It also creates a Deposit Reserve Target Easy Track mechanism with a 9,600 ETH ceiling.

Lido DAO has completed one of its more substantial operational governance packages of the month.

Aragon Vote #205 closed and executed on September 21 at 13:45 UTC, approving a bundle that includes the LIP-37 Execution Delegation Framework and new controls around deposit reserves.

Vote #205 Changes Several Pieces At Once

The vote does more than approve a single parameter.

It enacts LIP-37, upgrades the DepositSecurityModule to version 5, rotates operational keys for Kiln and Stakely, and establishes a Deposit Reserve Target Easy Track factory.

The reserve mechanism comes with a 9,600 ETH ceiling under CMC oversight.

Taken together, the changes affect how Lido handles execution delegation, operational permissions and the management of ETH reserved for deposits.

Lido Keeps Formalizing Its Operating Model

As Lido has grown into a major piece of Ethereum‘s staking infrastructure, governance changes increasingly resemble institutional control upgrades rather than experimental DAO tweaks.

Vote #205 is a good example.

The proposal has already passed and executed onchain, so this is no longer a pending governance item.

That gives node operators, delegates and users a clear new operating baseline.

The broader theme is that Lido continues to formalize how authority is delegated and how safeguards are applied around the movement of large amounts of staked ETH.
