Attackers pulled 4,000 BTC (~95% of reserves) from the federation wallet backing Blockstream's Liquid sidechain on Sunday. Exchanges suspended L-BTC deposits and withdrawals. 3,400 BTC has since been returned by a self-described white hat. Cause was a software bug, not a key compromise. Cold storage has no software to patch. No withdrawals to pause.
