A lot of blockchain infrastructure today still operates under the assumption that current cryptographic systems will remain secure indefinitely. @quipnetwork takes a very different stance by treating quantum advancement as a long term infrastructure challenge instead of a distant hypothetical problem. That’s why the project keeps exploring post quantum resistant approaches such as: • hash based signatures • one time key architectures • reduced key reuse exposure • layered verification models The important part isn’t “quantum panic.” It’s recognizing how slow ecosystem level migrations actually are. Wallet providers, exchanges, applications, bridges, and users all need time to adapt once standards begin changing. By the time the threat becomes obvious to everyone, the transition itself could already become the bottleneck. That’s what makes Quip’s direction stand out to me. It’s less focused on reacting later and more focused on building infrastructure with future cryptographic assumptions already in mind.
