Trump: "Israel-Lebanon 10-day ceasefire" Exclusive I just had a wonderful conversation with Lebanon’s respected President Joseph Aoun and Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. These two leaders have formally agreed to begin a 10-day ceasefire (truce) at 5:00 p.m. EST on Tuesday, marking the first such agreement between the two nations in 34 years. We met in Washington, D.C. with our great Secretary of State Marco Rubio. I have directed Vice President JD Vance, Secretary Rubio, and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs Dan Razin' Caine to work with Israel and Lebanon to achieve lasting peace. It has been an honor to resolve nine wars worldwide, and this will be the tenth. So let’s get it done!
