Cours de Housecoin

HOUSE (also styled as Housecoin) is a community-driven meme token on the Solana blockchain that lampoons the overheated real-estate market. Launched via a “fair-launch” mechanism on Pump.fun, all 998.8 million tokens were minted at genesis with no pre-sale or team allocation, and the mint authority was promptly renounced to ensure decentralization. Branded as “flipping the housing market, one $HOUSE at a time,” it trades under the contract address DitHyRMQiSDhn5cnKMJV2CDDt6sVct96YrECiM49pump and has gained traction as a satirical hedge against rising property prices.

As an SPL token on Solana, HOUSE operates like any standard Solana asset: holders store it in wallets such as Phantom or Solflare and route transfers through Solana’s validator network. Liquidity is provided by community-run pools on DEXes like Pump.fun (pumpswap) and Raydium, where users can swap SOL for HOUSE or stake SOL–HOUSE LP tokens to earn swap fees. The contract’s renounced state means there are no on-chain admin controls or future minting capabilities, preserving its fair-launch ethos.

Housecoin debuted on March 24, 2025 as a tongue-in-cheek response to skyrocketing housing costs, quickly amassing a community of over 22 000 holders within weeks. On April 10, 2025, the project launched its “Burn the House” campaign, inviting users to symbolically destroy virtual properties in exchange for limited-edition NFTs—an event that drew more than 10 000 participants in 48 hours. Throughout this period, active social-media engagement on X (formerly Twitter) and Telegram fueled viral growth, pushing 24-hour trading volumes into the tens of millions of dollars.

Primarily, HOUSE serves as a speculative and community-building asset, with traders seeking outsized gains from its meme-driven volatility. Beyond pure speculation, holders can provide liquidity in SOL–HOUSE pools on DEXes to earn a share of swap fees. The project’s governance is largely informal—decisions on marketing burns, merchandising drops, or new community events are made via polls on the official X and Telegram channels—making HOUSE a cultural token as much as a financial instrument.

Since there was no traditional airdrop, the primary way to acquire HOUSE is by swapping SOL on decentralized exchanges like Pump.fun or Raydium. Users can also earn HOUSE by providing liquidity—staking SOL–HOUSE LP tokens—to collect trading-fee rewards proportional to their pool share. Occasionally, community-run contests and NFT-based campaigns (e.g., “Burn the House”) distribute bonus HOUSE tokens or exclusive digital collectibles to winners, fostering ongoing engagement.

HOUSE features a fixed max supply of 998,820,000 tokens, all of which entered circulation at launch—there are no locked reserves, vesting schedules, or team allocations. With the mint authority renounced immediately post-genesis, the token’s supply is immutable, and no further minting or contract upgrades are possible. On-chain data reveals moderate concentration, with the top five holders controlling roughly 8% of the supply—an important risk factor for potential price volatility.

HOUSE did not conduct a conventional airdrop; instead, it opted for a fair-launch sale on Pump.fun, meaning every token was available for open purchase at launch price. Beware of third-party “HOUSE airdrop” scams—official distributions occur only via Pump.fun liquidity pools or direct listings on major Solana-compatible exchanges. For the most secure acquisition, users should swap SOL for HOUSE on reputable DEXes or purchase it through centralized venues like Gate.io or Bitget once listed.
