During the Covid pandemic in 2020, American entrepreneurs such as Bill Gates also called on the US government to distribute relief funds to the public. Recently, Sam Altman, the founder of OpenAI, also proposed a UBI plan. He believes that when AI replaces more jobs, not having work and income should not become a problem for people's survival. Therefore, his idea is to guarantee everyone's basic living by giving everyone money.
