ClinTex is a solution provider to the pharmaceutical industry and the creator of CTi - Clinical Trials Intelligence. Clinical Trials Intelligence, short for ClinTex, is powered using a distributed technology platform on the blockchain, smart contracts, and AI in the form of predictive data analytics and machine learning. The project aims to improve the quality of clinical trials and to make them more operationally efficient.

CTi, an ERC-20 token on Ethereum, is the native token for the Clinical Trials Intelligence platform developed by ClinTex. Users must utilize CTi through a staking license model integrated with the Clinical Trials Intelligence wallet to access the platform.

Clinical Trials Intelligence’s decentralized ledger is used to store the entire history of clinical trial key metrics in an immutable manner. ClinTex’s apps then use this data to drive custom predictive analytics algorithms in ongoing trials on the platform.

Clinical Trials Intelligence is a fully integrated platform offering end-to-end auditable workflow management and trial oversight. All preventive and corrective actions (CAPA) are continuously documented on the Clinical Trials Intelligence blockchain.

This helps establish a clinical ecosystem that supports interoperability and provides secure storage for all clinical trial data perspectives. Additionally, the use of blockchain technology also addresses all stakeholders’ privacy and security concerns.

The CTi ecosystem comprises seven distinct apps, each delivering crucial insights and substantial benefits to stakeholders such as Clinical Project Managers & Physicians, Clinical Data Managers, Pharmacovigilance staff, and Site Monitors. ClinTex empowers pharmaceutical companies to gain insight into their trials’ operational and clinical facets without significant investment in backend technical infrastructure or data science expertise.

The team behind ClinTex comprises pharmaceutical, clinical, software development, and data analytics experts. The company was established, and its concept was developed in 2018.

In 2019, development on the CTi project commenced, the CTi data model was finalized in Q2, and its Proof of Concept (PoC) was unveiled in Q3. The company raised capital through a private funding round in Q1 2020 and a public token sale in Q3. Other key developments through 2020 included CTi-OEM specification and prototype development and testing.

Other project features were developed over the next year, including CTi-PDA specification, CTi-OEM GUI, OpTex, and PDA. The CTi-OEM MVP was launched in Q3 2021. CTi clinical data statistical summaries were migrated on-chain in Q2 2022.

This was followed by the launch of CTi’s first pilot trial in Q4 2022. Goals for 2023 as of May 2023 include streamlining analytics development, supporting a Phase III clinical trial, CTi development testing in a live trial environment, and the technology’s deployment in live chronic pain clinical trials.
