Solayer is a blockchain platform built on Solana. It uses hardware acceleration to achieve high transaction speeds and low latency. This design allows decentralized applications (dApps) to run efficiently. 

Solayer introduces a concept called "restaking." This lets you re-stake assets like SOL to enhance network security and earn additional rewards. The platform's native token, LAYER, serves as its governance token. You can trade LAYER on exchanges like KuCoin.

Solayer operates as a restaking protocol on the Solana blockchain. You can restake your SOL tokens or Liquid Staking Tokens (LSTs) through Solayer's platform. This generates sSOL, a liquid utility token representing the restaked assets. 

You can delegate sSOL to secure Actively Validated Services (AVSs), which include both Solana-native dApps and external systems requiring decentralized security. This process enhances network security and allows you to earn optimized validator yields and restaking incentives.

Solayer, established in 2024, is a restaking protocol on the Solana blockchain. The founding team includes Jason Li (Co-Founder), Changze Cui (Founding Engineer), and Martin Palazov (Core Contributor).

In January 2025, Solayer released its 2025 roadmap, introducing Solayer InfiniSVM, a hardware-accelerated SVM blockchain. This innovation aims to achieve infinitely scalable multi-execution cluster architecture through technologies like Software-Defined Networking (SDN) and Remote Direct Memory Access (RDMA), targeting network speeds of 100 Gbps while maintaining atomic state consistency.

The roadmap also outlines plans to launch the LAYER token, which will serve as the native governance token for the platform. The Token Generation Event (TGE) for LAYER is scheduled for February 11, 2025.

At launch, $LAYER primarily functions as a governance token, allowing holders to vote on protocol upgrades and key ecosystem initiatives. Future utilities include participation in Proof of Stake consensus for decentralized verification and serving as the gas token for transactions on the Solayer network. 

By restaking your SOL tokens or LSTs, you can earn LAYER tokens as rewards, enhancing network security and scalability.

Additionally, you can trade Solayer tokens on exchanges like KuCoin. Deposits are currently open, with trading to commence once liquidity requirements are met.

Solayer's native token, $LAYER, has a total supply of 1 billion tokens, with an initial circulating supply of 220 million.

Vesting Schedule

1. Genesis Drop & Emerald Card Sale: Fully unlocked at launch.

2. Community Incentives: Vested linearly over 6 months.

3. Community & Ecosystem and Foundation Allocations: Vested quarterly over 4 years.

4. Team & Advisors: 1-year cliff, followed by linear vesting over 3 years.

5. Investors: 1-year cliff, followed by linear vesting over 2 years.

The Solayer Genesis Drop rewards early community members, allocating 12% of the total supply to sSOL and sUSD holders, AVS partners, and participants in partnered DeFi protocols. Eligible recipients can claim their tokens starting February 11, 2025, with additional $LAYER becoming claimable over the next 6 months. 

To claim the Solayer ($LAYER) airdrop, follow these steps:

1. Verify Eligibility: Ensure you've participated in Solayer's staking and restaking activities. Connect your Solana-compatible wallet to the Solayer platform. Complete any required tasks or criteria set by Solayer.

2. Claim Process: Starting February 11, 2025, you can claim your $LAYER tokens directly through the Solayer platform. Log in to your account, navigate to the airdrop section, and follow the on-screen instructions to claim your tokens.

3. Trading Availability: After claiming, you can trade $LAYER tokens on supported exchanges like KuCoin.
