How to Perform Identity Verification on KuCoin (E-KYC)?

For app

Step 1: Choose your region and the verification method first, and then fill in your personal information.

Step 2: After completing the Basic information, click the "Next" button, you will get to the step to take a photo of your ID.

Step 3: Turn on your camera for Facial Verification.

Step 4: Wait for the verification result.

 

For Web

Step 1: Click "Verify" button on the Individual Verification screen, select your country/region and the certificate you are willing to verify with, and then fill in your personal information.

Step2 Upload Photo of ID and Complete Face Verification 

Click 'Continue' button to complete the verification, Choose 'Continue in Browser' if your app is unavailable, and then you will need to verify your ID. 

Click 'Continue' and 'Allow' button to grant permission to access your computer camera, follow the instructions and put your ID in front of the camera, click the round button to take a picture of the front and back of your ID. You can also choose to upload a picture of your ID if your camera is unavailable.

Please make sure that:

1. The ID is complete, clear and not blurred.

2. The photo is not taken in the dark and there is no reflection of light.

3. The ID is not covered or damaged in any way.

After uploading the document photos, the system will ask for face verification, please make sure that it is clear, it is recommended that you do not wear any hats or glasses.

After completing the process, please note that we will review your documents and please wait patiently.

 

Why KYC Verification Failed

If you are notified that Your KYC verification is Failed by email/SMS, No worries, please log in to your KuCoin account, click "Identity Verification", you'll find the incorrect information highlighted. Kindly click "Retry" to revise it and resubmit and we'll verify it timely.
