Brazil's central bank issued Resolutions 588 and 589, requiring VASPs to report self-custody wallet transactions ≥ $10,000 to COAF. The rules prohibit dealings with unlicensed VASPs and take effect on Oct 1, 2026. Only 5 VASPs have applied for licenses so far.
