CLARITY Act Senate negotiations
Ethics provisions remain the main obstacle as senators negotiate final CLARITY Act language ahead of a possible July vote.

🇺🇸 THE SEC THAT SPENT 4 YEARS SUING CRYPTO JUST MADE IT PRIORITY NUMBER 1 FOR 2026. SEC Chair Paul Atkins laid out the agenda: Clearer crypto rules, easier IPOs, and retail access to deals that were locked to institutions. Everyone reads this as another Washington press cycle. What they're missing: this is not a proposal. This is the annual work program. Every line here becomes a rulemaking. The US is officially building the on-ramp back to public markets, and crypto sits at the top of the list.

SEC IS ABOUT TO DROP THE FIRST FULL CRYPTO REGULATORY FRAMEWORK. Chair Paul Atkins confirmed it's coming in July — rules for DeFi, startups, token issuers. Same week: CLARITY Act sitting at 72% odds to pass in 2026 (Polymarket). If it passes, 16 assets including $SOL $XRP $ADA $LINK get classified as commodities. BTC ETF flows just turned green two sessions straight — $221M, then $265M — after weeks of red. Same fundamental setup we saw right before ETF approval. Regulator stops fighting, starts building rules WITH the market. Coincidence or the next leg up getting quietly built? #Crypto #SEC #Bitcoin

The CLARITY Act hearing is not just an $XRP story. It matters for $BTC, $ETH, $SOL, and $LTC too. Congress has a July 17 field hearing on digital asset market structure, and the real issue is bigger than one token’s price chart. This is about whether the U.S. can create a durable SEC/CFTC framework that separates digital commodities from investment-contract assets. That matters across the full crypto infrastructure stack: $BTC: monetary base layer, store-of-value thesis, institutional collateral, and settlement-grade scarcity. $ETH: smart contract settlement, DeFi, stablecoins, tokenization, staking, and institutional rails. $SOL: high-throughput applications, payments, consumer crypto, DePIN, DeFi, and low-cost execution. $XRP: payments, liquidity movement, cross-border settlement, exchange support, and legal/regulatory history. $LTC: one of the oldest proof-of-work payment networks, with durability, liquidity, uptime, and cycle-tested infrastructure. The market will focus on price. I am focused on classification, custody rules, exchange treatment, broker-dealer obligations, ETF implications, and whether Congress can turn agency guidance into law. That is the difference between temporary relief and durable market structure. My view: Regulatory clarity can benefit $BTC, $ETH, $SOL, $XRP, $LTC, and the broader digital asset market. But a hearing is not a law. A draft is not passage. And legal clarity is not the same thing as real adoption. The winners will not automatically be the loudest communities. They will be the networks with security, liquidity, utility, developer activity, institutional relevance, and long-term durability. Own the rails. Ignore most of the noise. EDUCATIONAL MARKET COMMENTARY ONLY! NOT A RECOMMENDATION TO BUY, SELL, OR HOLD! #Bitcoin #Ethereum #Solana #XRP #Litecoin

Congress is about to define what a commodity is in crypto. Bittensor already answered that question years ago. No company. No CEO. No headquarters to subpoena. Just 21 million coins, a halving schedule, and a network nobody controls. The CLARITY Act cleared committee 15 to 9. One floor vote stands between TAO and the cleanest commodity classification in the entire market. And where is the price while history loads? $212. 72% below the peak. Bitcoin got its regulatory moment at $80,000. $TAO gets its moment in the discount bin. The bill was written for assets exactly like this one. Most people will realize that after the vote, not before. The people who read the docs always buy before the people who read the price.

CLARITY Act: New Version Expected Week of July 13 The US Senate could unveil a merged version of the CLARITY Act as early as the week of July 13, with a vote scheduled for July 20. The text, enriched by over 70 pages compared to previous versions, still needs to overcome the hurdle of 60 required votes. Will unresolved ethical issues be enough to derail this tight schedule?
