Almost half of Russian participants in the cryptocurrency market do not verify the origin of assets and counterparties, according to the study "The Russian Cryptocurrency Market 2026."
The survey was conducted by the company A7A5, with a sample of 1,000 people from Russia and the Russian-speaking diaspora.
The audience was distributed almost equally: 51.6% verify the origin of assets and counterparties, 48.4% do not.
What tools are used:
• 26.6% — built-in exchange functions;
• 11.7% — specialized services (leader — BitOK);
• 3.9% — Russian developments (Inchain, Shard, etc.).
The authors note that AML mechanisms are developing but have not yet become a universal practice on the Russian market.
