If you’re still valuing Hyperliquid like a standard dApp, you’re missing the bigger picture Hyperliquid took 43% of all blockchain fee revenue in a recent period, more than Eth and Sol combined The market is finally starting to price $HYPE as the main trading hub of crypto, not just another DeFi token

Gone are the days of buying any crypto and making multiple Xs With institutions and big money investors flocking into crypto , they only care about one thing . HOW MUCH REVENUE DOES THE CHAIN EARN/DO This right there is why Hyperliquid just put in an ATH while other alts are down 50%. Be wise and choose your coins accordingly.

Wood calls the bottom on Solana & says Hyperliquid could go to zero in five years. "Sentiment is too bad." "Too many people shitting on it, grave dancing on it." "All I see on the TL is people shitting on Solana and saying Hyperliquid is the next thing, Hyperliquid is going to change the future of finance. We have gone through so many cycles of saying a crypto is going to change everything and that crypto ends up going to zero in 5 years." "I think people are drastically underestimating Solana."

The man behind $HYPE: - Immigrant. Raised by a single mother after his parents divorced - Learned physics by himself at 16 - Won a gold medal in the International Physics Olympiad - Started crypto trading in 2019 with only $10K from a living room in Puerto Rico - Built Chameleon - became one of the biggest crypto trading firms - Saw FTX collapse and decided to shut Chameleon down himself - Realized crypto was moving away from its original vision - Started Hyperliquid with just 11 people - No VCs. No outside investors. No market makers - Said no to a $100M offer at a $1B valuation - Hyperliquid processed $4 trillion in trading volume - Made $900M profit in one year - Trading fees are burned automatically on-chain - No middlemen. No politics - Now one of the most profitable projects in DeFi Most founders only talk about decentralization. Jeff Yan actually built it.

Many people haven’t truly understood the logic behind this $HYPE rally. Let me, Maik, break down the underlying reasoning for you—my conclusion is that HYPE is no longer just a chain-based contract trading platform 1.0. Why have A16Z and major OG whales been consistently accumulating HYPE recently? I believe this logic is fundamentally different from before. Let’s first ask: What has recently happened with HYPE? Yes—it launched contract listings for several real-world AI giants ahead of their IPOs (such as SpaceX, and earlier Cerebras)—touching the core of traditional finance: asset pricing power. Previously, crypto trading platforms revolved entirely around cryptocurrencies themselves. But Hyperliquid is doing something different: it’s bringing core traditional financial assets on-chain. Crucially, HYPE’s early initiatives have already demonstrated remarkable strength, with logic and market expectations playing out exceptionally well. This is precisely why ICE and CME in the U.S. are now panicking and moving against HYPE—filing complaints with the CFTC and lobbying governments. The idea that price discovery for risk assets is no longer controlled by traditional financial institutions is terrifying to them. Add to that the fact that HYPE is steadily stealing users and draining liquidity away from them—and unlike traditional exchanges, crypto platforms operate 24/7. If this trend continues, will global assets eventually migrate on-chain, breaking free from traditional trading hours? Will pricing power gradually shift away from legacy institutions? Could the entire traditional financial system be dismantled—and replaced by a new structural framework? This isn’t just storytelling; it’s a very real possibility. Some like to compare $BNB with $HYPE. BNB’s value stems from platform user growth and token utility—essentially a platform asset. But what does Hyperliquid represent? A decentralized contract exchange + on-chain infrastructure for traditional finance. It has platform asset attributes too—but with an additional, critical layer: the continuous on-chain tokenization of global traditional financial assets (starting with pre-market U.S. stocks, with more asset classes to follow). This is the bigger narrative. Consequently, HYPE isn’t just a platform token like BNB (and I’m not diminishing BNB here)—it also embodies value derived from being the foundational infrastructure for traditional finance on-chain. In my view, this is precisely why institutions are continuously adding to their positions. I’ve previously mentioned ICE and CME’s CFTC complaints against HYPE. What happens next? I can’t predict the outcome—but the best possible result would be for this threat to be resolved swiftly.
