Bitcoin bear market depth analysis

Bitcoin fell 52% from $126K high to $60K, but historical data shows bear market drawdowns are narrowing by 5-10% per cycle.

• Potential decline: Some analyses suggest a further decline to specific support levels, such as below $100,000 or even around $54,000–$55,000, especially if current support levels are breached. There are also predictions of a 78% chance that Bitcoin will fall below $65,000 this year.

• Potential increase/rebound: On the other hand, there is also the view that the current decline may merely be a medium-term correction within a broader still-bullish trend. Some analysts have identified key support areas where price reversals could occur, or if the price successfully breaks out from a specific trend line, rebound opportunities may open up.

Bitcoins ‘DCA Signal’ is lighting up like a Christmas Tree. 🎄 There is no ‘Exact Bottom’ formula. Bulls think it’s in, or there may be one final move lower. Bears think we are going down until Q4. The TRUTH, is that no one KNOWS. Despite what anyone says. I’m happily DCA’ing $65k or lower, why? Because I can stomach further downside IF it comes & truth be told, anything under $100k in the future will seem like an absolute gift. You must do what works for YOU & you alone. We have spent weeks in this range now, this is the time to formulate a plan & LEARN. When the market starts flying again, you do not want to be stood like a deer in the headlights, wandering what the hell to do. Winners build when the masses are saying it’s all over. Decide which team you want to be on when the next bull starts. Because when it comes, it will wait for no one. You’ve got this legends. h/t: @Alphractal 🤝

🚨 Cathie Wood just said LIVE on CNBC that Bitcoin's price will never fall over 80% again ⚡ She called Bitcoin a "proven monetary system." Every cycle the drawdowns compress. 93%. 84%. 77%. The pattern is clear. As institutional adoption deepens, the floor keeps rising. The days of catastrophic Bitcoin crashes are QUIETLY becoming a thing of the past. Is this the cycle where the world finally realizes Bitcoin's downside risk has fundamentally changed? ⚡

This chart hits hard. Like, has this BTC cycle really been this long. This gentleman's TA indicates so. #Crypto #PassiveIncome $Bitcoin

The current BTC price is $66,939.25, maintaining an upward trend with minor consolidation. The SMA50 and SMA200 support levels remain solid, positively influencing the trend; however, the timing is not yet ideal for entry, and we prefer to wait for further pullback. #BTC #Bitcoin

Unrealized losses of $600 billion face Bitcoin holders as the price drops to $66,000. 💪 These moments are a true test of patience and long-term vision. 📈 History shows that the greatest opportunities arise after the deepest declines. 🎯 Those with clear vision don’t focus on today’s red numbers—they see the true value. ♻️ Markets always correct themselves. #Bitcoin #Cryptocurrency #LongTermInvesting

The upper range for where $BTC could bottom, based on this model, is around $56K, while the lower range sits near $45K. From a price action and timing perspective, the bottom is likely to form between July and September. This suggests we still have roughly 3–6 months remaining before a macro bottom is established. If the logarithmic angles and overall pattern continue to hold, this model could serve as a reliable indicator for identifying the next bottoming zone. Considering that bear markets typically last around 300–350 days, and we are currently only at day 176, it seems quite plausible that the $60K level gets swept whilst moving into this projected green zone. Given that we are still relatively early in the cycle, I’m not convinced that a bottom has already been formed. With several months potentially still ahead, I’m continuing to follow this projected sequence.

April 10th... $BTC I’m expecting a sweep of either the highs or lows into this pivot. I’ll be closely watching PA before taking any entries. If we sweep the highs, I’ll look to add to my short. If we sweep the lows, I’ll shift focus to potential long setups.

In the last 9 years I been in the space this is my third bear market. First time I was out in 2017 because I felt the joy of making x3 online by literally buying and holding $BTC $ETH. By the time bear market started I was already out. Pure luck. During my first bear market I focused on learning about trading and assets security. Decided ill give crypto 4 years of dedication as the space started to get more popular. Got back in around Q3 2019. The end of 2020 I discovered gaming and @AxieInfinity. Researched and saw potential. Invested 1/4 of my holdings into that. 2021 came and I did breeding loops and manage scholars after the launch of @Ronin_Network I did hit 150x on my portfolio value in Crypto and NFTs and I took out around x50 from my initial investment. That was insane. The best bull run ever. Memes payed, gaming payed, trades payed. Held on for to long forgetting the lesson how bear market does hit eventualy but still made insane profits and the rest was dust. Decided im staying in Crypto for good. 2022 was a hard hit in personal life though. Hardest year of my life. Took me a while to get back on my feet. By the end of 2023 I sorted out majority of things and I got more active in the crypto space again. Not long after 2024 started super promising. All my stuff hit x5-10x. Expected 2025 to top out around november / december and biggest alt run we ever saw. This time taking the investment out was not the plan but hitting that sweet x100+ slowly. Well did not happen. 2025 came and I felt my first loss since I focused alts that I got back into in 2023. Not taking enough profits on leverage trades was the biggest money killer. That flash crash in October was a hard hit. We actually never recovered from it but went lower. As we hit the bear market now and I see these prices I can say 1 thing for certain. Always take your profits. Secure your intials and don't get lost on CT. Majority of people don't have a clue what will happen and when. Thats why 95% of investors get destroyed. Listening to so called "experts" which actually keep making money from other sources other then trading. Chasing x1000 is same as chasing lottery. It can be done but luck is a major factor. It's easier to secure profits and wait for the next chance and scale slowly. Less time consuming, less stresfull. Living in the past and waiting for glory days to come back won't get you far. Especialy if you are new in the space and don't know the whole story behind previous cycles from your own experience. This is the perfect time to slowly accumulate, build portfolio and stick to the projects that keep building in these times. $BTC always leads the charge, it always brakes a new ATH every cycle. That never changed. It's time to lock in and arm youself with patience and conviction. Once things starts poping up you need to be ready to sell and not buy in on every green candle. That's when buying the dips actually makes sense. Crypto is hard work. It's not money overnight. Things are changing, AI is getting crazier by the day. World economy is where it is. I know what my plan is, do you know yours or you are just gambling? Think about it. Do your own research, find people to follow with good history behind them and people who don't talk only during the hype. Build your own strategy, calculate your investment and use only what you can lose. No risking of your life savings and don't get to greedy. Profit is profit and you are not here to make memories but money. Meeting new people and making connections is a part of life. Be it real life of online. That comes either way. The main reason you should be in crypto is money. It's actually the only reason everyone is in. Don't lie to yourself or get lost in CT stories. In the end of the day you are in crypto to make money. Why else? Easy to understand and simple really. The rest is just noise.

BTC has been in a bear market since January 2025. Most strategies quietly bleed out. Mean-reversion on perps is built differently. Our best quarter? Q4 2024: +34.3%, Sharpe 2.9 — peak volatility, peak returns. Bear market? Every single quarter: positive. The strategy doesn't fight volatility. It harvests it. And while it does, you're farming @hibachi_xyz points the whole time. Brutal combo.
