VIP+2 Program Terms and Conditions
You may participate in the VIP+2 Program only if you have successfully completed the onboarding and verification process required by KuCoin EU and satisfy all applicable KYC, AML/CFT, sanctions screening and other compliance requirements. You may access the Platform and participate in the Program only from jurisdictions in which KuCoin EU is permitted to provide the relevant crypto-asset services
1. Eligibility
To be eligible for the VIP+2 Program, you must have successfully completed all applicable onboarding, know-your-customer, anti-money laundering, sanctions screening, and other compliance checks required by KuCoin EU. You must also be in, and access the services only from, a jurisdiction in which KuCoin EU is permitted to provide the relevant crypto-asset services.
Affiliates, sub-affiliates, and users referred by affiliates or sub-affiliates may participate in the VIP+2 Program, but their maximum eligible level under the Program is VIP Level 4 on KuCoin EU, regardless of any higher external VIP status, fee rate, or trading volume.
2. Application Requirements
You must submit the application form and provide accurate, complete, current, and verifiable evidence of either your spot trading volume over the past 30 days or your current VIP taker fee rate on another crypto-asset trading platform. Acceptable evidence may include account statements, screenshots, platform-generated reports, or other documents requested by KuCoin EU.
KuCoin EU may reject, suspend, or request clarification on any application if the information provided is incomplete, inconsistent, outdated, unverifiable, misleading, altered, or otherwise insufficient for eligibility assessment.
3. Determination of VIP Level
Your eligible VIP level will be determined by reference to the method that results in the higher applicable tier. KuCoin EU may match your taker fee rate on another platform to the closest corresponding KuCoin EU VIP level and then apply a two-level upgrade or match your 30-day spot trading volume to the corresponding KuCoin EU VIP level and then apply a two-level upgrade.
The final determination of eligibility, matching methodology, corresponding VIP level, and applicable fee rate is subject to KuCoin EU’s internal review, applicable law, regulatory requirements, risk controls, and operational procedures. Submission of an application does not guarantee approval or any specific VIP level or fee rate.
4. Duration and Expiry
If approved, the VIP+2 fee rates will be valid for 60 calendar days from the date on which the upgraded VIP level is activated on your KuCoin EU account, unless otherwise communicated by KuCoin EU. After the 60-day period expires, your VIP level and fee rate may revert to the level applicable under KuCoin EU’s standard VIP rules, unless you qualify for another level or receive a further approved offer.
5. Misuse, Fraud, and Withdrawal
KuCoin EU may refuse, suspend, reverse, downgrade, or withdraw any VIP+2 upgrade if it reasonably suspects misuse, market abuse, manipulation, fraudulent activity, false information, document tampering, account sharing, circumvention of eligibility rules, breach of applicable terms, or breach of applicable laws or regulations.
6. Regulatory and Risk Disclosures
Crypto-assets are subject to significant risks, including price volatility, liquidity risk, technology risk, cybersecurity risk, operational risk, regulatory risk, and the potential loss of all or part of your assets. The VIP+2 Program does not constitute investment advice, financial advice, tax advice, legal advice, a recommendation, or a solicitation to buy, sell, hold, or trade any crypto-asset.
7. Data Protection
Information regarding the processing of your personal data is set out in KuCoin EU's Privacy notice according to Art.13 and 14 GDPR, which forms part of the contractual documentation applicable to your use of the Platform https://www.kucoin.com/en-eu/support/47185419968074
8. Changes, Suspension, or Termination
KuCoin EU may amend, suspend or terminate the VIP+2 Program or these VIP+2 Terms in accordance with applicable law. Where required by applicable law, KuCoin EU will notify Users of any amendments on paper or another durable medium. Any changes will not limit mandatory rights that users may have under applicable law.
9. Relationship with Other Terms
These VIP+2 Terms supplement the General Terms, the applicable product agreements, the Fee Schedule, the Privacy Notice, the Risk Disclosure and any other applicable contractual documentation. In the event of any conflict between these VIP+2 Terms and the General Terms, these VIP+2 Terms shall prevail solely with respect to the VIP+2 Program, unless mandatory law requires otherwise.
