1. Why Hasn't My Limit Order Been Filled?
A Limit Order may remain active if execution conditions are not met.
Possible reasons:
-
Target price has not been reached
-
Insufficient liquidity
-
Order expired
2. Does Creating a Limit Order Require Gas?
No.
Creating and submitting a Limit Order only requires a signature and does not consume Gas, provided that sufficient token allowance is available.
However:
-
Token Approval requires Gas.
-
Canceling a Limit Order requires Gas.
3. What Is Token Allowance?
Token allowance is the amount of tokens that a smart contract is authorized to use from your wallet.
If allowance is lower than the required amount, you need to approve the token first.
4. Can Limit Orders Be Partially Filled?
Yes.
A Limit Order may be partially executed while the remaining amount continues waiting for execution.
The 1inch Limit Order Protocol supports partial fills.
5. What Happens If My Balance Changes?
Keep sufficient payment token balance while the order is active.
If your balance becomes insufficient, the order may not be executed.
6. Can I Cancel a Limit Order?
Yes.
Active orders can be canceled before execution.
Cancellation requires Gas.
7. Why Do I Need Token Approval?
Token Approval allows the Limit Order contract to use the selected token from your wallet.
Approval is required only when your existing allowance is insufficient.
8. What Happens When My Limit Order Expires?
An unfilled order remains active for the selected expiration period. When that period ends, the order expires and is no longer available for execution.
