How to Import and Export an Existing KuCoin Web3 Wallet?

This guide explains how to import an existing wallet into the KuCoin Web3 Wallet extension and how to export wallet information when needed.

Import an Existing Wallet

If you already have a KuCoin Web3 Wallet (or another compatible Web3 wallet), you can import it into the browser extension.

Supported Import Methods

  • Seed Phrase (Recovery Phrase) – Recommended
  • Private Key – For advanced users only

Steps to Import a Wallet

  1. Open the KuCoin Web3 Wallet browser extension
  2. Select Import Wallet
  3. Choose your import method:
    • Seed Phrase
    • Private Key 
  4. Enter the required information
  5. Confirm to complete the import

Export an Existing Wallet

Exporting wallet information allows you to back up your wallet or restore it on another device. KuCoin Web3 Wallet does not store your credentials, so exporting must be done manually and securely.

What You Can Export

  • Seed Phrase (recommended for full wallet recovery)
  • Private Key (address-specific, advanced use only)

Steps to Export Wallet Information

  1. Open the KuCoin Web3 Wallet browser extension
  2. Go to Settings
  3. Select Backups
  4. Choose the wallet you want to export
  5. Carefully record the information and store it securely
