TRUF Network is a decentralized platform that processes and shares economic data using blockchain technology. The platform combines blockchain with SQL-smart contracts to create a transparent and tamper-proof system.

It gathers real-time economic data from many sources, such as inflation metrics, commodity prices, and housing trends. This reliable data helps developers build innovative financial applications. 

TRUF Network also enables the creation of custom indexes, tokenization of real-world assets, and synthetic markets. The network is secured by node operators who stake TRUF tokens, while the tokens also serve as a means for paying fees and participating in governance.

These node operators validate and compute the data, ensuring it remains accurate and tamper-proof.

Data providers supply raw financial information, which is then securely managed on the platform. Developers can access this verified data to build innovative decentralized finance (DeFi) products like custom indexes, tokenized real-world assets, and prediction markets. The platform uses blockchain technology and SQL-smart contracts to maintain transparency and reliability.

The TRUF token is the economic layer of the network. It is used for staking by node operators, paying transaction fees, and participating in governance. This setup aligns incentives across the ecosystem, ensuring that everyone—from data providers to developers—works together to maintain data integrity and drive innovation.

​TRUF.Network began as Truflation.com in December 2021 to provide transparent inflation metrics. In early 2025, it rebranded to TRUF.Network, serving  developers with decentralized real-world asset (RWA) data for financial applications. 

The 2025 roadmap focuses on: introducing a blockchain explorer and integrating TRUF.Network data with Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM)-based chains.​

​The TRUF token is central to the TRUF.Network ecosystem, serving several key functions:​

> Data Provider Node Operation: Data providers use TRUF tokens to operate nodes, facilitating data provision and consumption.​

> Governance Participation: Token holders can stake and lock their TRUF tokens to actively participate in network governance decisions.​

Additionally, you can trade TRUF tokens on multiple exchanges, including KuCoin, providing liquidity and accessibility for users.​

​The TRUF token has a maximum supply of 1 billion tokens, allocated as follows:

> Ecosystem: 60% (600 million tokens) reserved to support network growth over eight years.

> Investors: 25% (250 million tokens) allocated to investors. ​

> Development Team: 13% (130 million tokens) assigned to the development team.

> Advisors: 2% (20 million tokens) designated for advisors.

The ecosystem tokens are released gradually over eight years, with monthly distributions decreasing over time to create a disinflationary supply.

Investor tokens have a vesting period of two years, while tokens for the development team and advisors have a six-month cliff followed by a four-year vesting schedule. 

As of March 2025, approximately 27.2% of the total supply has been unlocked, with 72.8% remaining locked. ​
