NODE is the native utility and governance token of NodeOps Network, a chain-agnostic, AI-powered DePIN orchestration protocol that provides verifiable decentralized compute services. As the economic backbone of the ecosystem, NODE enables users to access and coordinate cloud compute, staking interfaces, security tools, and node deployment—making decentralized infrastructure more accessible and scalable for developers and enterprises.

NODE employs a dynamic burn-and-mint model tightly linked to real protocol usage. Users convert NODE into credits redeemable for compute services via the NodeOps Console—triggering token burns. As providers earn revenue from compute tasks, governance-controlled minting replenishes NODE supply based on real economic activity. This loop aligns token emissions with protocol demand and includes staking mechanisms to secure the network and incentivize performance.

NodeOps was founded in 2023 to simplify blockchain and compute node operations. After raising a significant seed round (led by L1 Digital, Finality Capital, and others) and developing its tool suite—including Console, Staking Hub, and Security Hub—the team adopted an AI-first DePIN model. The TGE was scheduled for June 30, 2025 via Binance Wallet and PancakeSwap, marking the token’s transition from utility credits to public trading.

NODE sits at the heart of the NodeOps ecosystem:

• Compute Credits: Convert tokens into on-platform credits for node deployment, cloud usage, and security tools.
  
  

• Staking & Delegation: Stake or delegate NODE to secure nodes, onboard providers, and earn rewards.
  
  

• Governance: Vote on burn/mint ratios and economic parameters.
  
  

• Provider Incentives: Calculate provider rewards and basis for token bonding.

Staking Rewards: Stake NODE as a provider (minimum per compute unit) to earn a share of revenue splits.

NodePoints Airdrop: Earn NodePoints on testnet through node operations or ecosystem activity to qualify for the genesis airdrop.

Protocol Incentives: Earn protocol emission rewards through uptime and performance as part of NodeOps’ dynamic minting.

At genesis, total NODE supply is 678.8 million, allocated across stakeholders: 47.5% to community/a period airdrop, 22.5% to early backers, 15% for protocol incentives, 15% for contributors, and 2% for IDO. Token emissions are governed by a burn/mint equilibrium model tied to real usage, with a dynamic burn/mint ratio increasing over time and capped daily supply. This ensures supply adapts to demand, minimizing inflation.

The Genesis Airdrop allocated ~105 million NODE (~15.5% of supply) to early ecosystem supporters, testnet node operators, and contributors. Airdrop eligibility was based on NodePoints earned in the Atlas testnet. Recipients were automatically credited; unlocking follows 80% at genesis, 10% after 6 months, and the final 10% after 9 months.
