Revolt 2 Earn ($RVLT) is Cult DAO's first ecosystem token, and has been built on the Polygon network as a Polygon POS token with 0.4% taxation.
Revolt 2 Earn ($RVLT) is the second tradable and liquid token from Cult DAO. Transacting $RVLT will contribute to the protocol by filling the DAO treasury slowly, to fund investments into decentralized technologies. This is achieved due to a 0.4% collection on all $RVLT transactions that goes straight to the treasury.
Each month 490 stakers (+10 consistent NFT owners) are picked randomly from all $RVLT stakers (uRVLT owners). These 500 have the job of approving or disapproving submissions by the users of the actions they have taken to help the Cult ecosystem, and support the revolution. This could be as simple as stickering, leafleting, shilling or civil disobedience.
This protocol exists to “allow the many to not have to rely on wage labour fully, or in part and to fill the gap and pay users to further the cause of decentralization and the Cult ecosystem.”
What is Cult.DAO?
Cult DAO seeks to fast forward the collapse of the global economic order and to fund the revolutionaries seeking the same goal.
The top 50 Cult stakers are called The Guardians and they can submit proposals to the DAO, but they cannot influence the vote. The votes can be made by all Cult stakers who are not Guardians.
These proposals put forward should be requests for investment from protocols which match all or most of the below criteria:
- Fight Against Centralisation
- Further the Cause of Decentralisation
- Directly Benefit a Noble Cause
The DAO can then vote on whether they believe the investment should be granted. There is also a burning mechanism in place that works as an incentive.
