In accordance with MetaEra, on December 5 (UTC+8), Turkish digital asset platform Paribu announced the acquisition of CoinMENA, the largest local cryptocurrency exchange in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. The transaction is valued at up to $240 million. Through this acquisition, Paribu will expand from its domestic Turkish market into the MENA region, where crypto adoption is high, and will gain two active digital asset licenses from the Dubai Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority (VARA) and the Central Bank of Bahrain.
