As per Bijiawang, World Liberty Financial (WLFI), a cryptocurrency project backed by former U.S. President Donald Trump, has announced a strategic expansion plan to integrate its USD1 stablecoin into the Solana blockchain’s DeFi ecosystem through partnerships with Bonk and Raydium. The collaboration, revealed on November 5, aims to expand USD1’s usage beyond existing markets and position it as a direct competitor to USDC, which dominates Solana’s stablecoin supply. USD1, pegged 1:1 to U.S. government money market funds and cash equivalents, has grown to a circulation of $2.91 billion since its April 2025 launch. WLFI also introduced a USD1 Points Program in October to reward DeFi activity and has distributed 8.4 million WLFI tokens, worth around $1.2 million, to early participants.
