In accordance with Bijié Wǎng, Stream Finance, a permissionless tokenized yield fund, has declared bankruptcy after an external fund manager reportedly lost $93 million in assets. The company has suspended all deposits, withdrawals, and pending transactions while seeking a resolution. Stream has engaged the law firm Perkins Coie LLP to conduct a full investigation, led by Keith Miller and Joseph Cutler, experts in crypto-related litigation and securities law. The firm is also working to recover remaining assets and has pledged to provide regular updates. The incident has triggered a broader ripple effect across DeFi, with at least nine on-chain risk management firms and four major DeFi lending markets reportedly affected.
