As reported by HashNews, Sony's blockchain partner Startale has launched the USDSC stablecoin on the Soneium network. USDSC is intended to serve as the default digital dollar for payments, rewards, and other functions within the Soneium ecosystem. Soneium, an Ethereum Layer 2 network, was launched last year by Sony Group and Startale through their joint venture, Sony Block Solutions Labs. USDSC is built on M0 infrastructure, a startup developing a modular platform for programmable stablecoins. Additionally, Startale introduced the STAR points reward system to incentivize users to mint or hold USDSC, complete in-app tasks, or interact with decentralized applications via a mobile hub.
