Derived from Finbold, Representative Mike Collins of Georgia's 10th congressional district has been actively trading cryptocurrencies, including Ethereum (ETH) and Virtuals Protocol (VIRTUAL). On January 3, 2025, Collins purchased up to $15,000 worth of ETH and VIRTUAL. However, by January 12, VIRTUAL's price had dropped from $4.30 to $2.70, resulting in a potential loss of up to $5,600. If Collins had held VIRTUAL longer, he might have minimized losses, as the price temporarily rose above $3.80 on January 15. As of February 4, VIRTUAL is trading at $1.59. Meanwhile, ETH, bought at approximately $3,500, has decreased to $2,778.79, reflecting an 18.46% year-to-date drop. Collins' ETH investment could now be worth as little as $11,909.10, down from a potential $15,000.
