As per CoinDesk, Noble, a blockchain focused on real-world assets and stablecoins, announced the introduction of 'AppLayer,' an Ethereum-compatible rollup. This new feature will allow developers to create applications and infrastructure for real-world assets like stablecoins. AppLayer will utilize Celestia, a data availability blockchain, to reduce storage costs for data-intensive networks. The launch is scheduled for the third quarter of 2025. Noble aims to enhance cross-ecosystem potential by integrating with Ethereum-based DeFi projects. The announcement comes amid growing interest in stablecoins, with significant legislative developments expected in the U.S. later this year. Noble, launched in March 2023, has been expanding its reach beyond the Cosmos ecosystem, integrating with Ethereum to facilitate stablecoin transfers. Co-founder Jelena Djuric highlighted the transformative potential of stablecoins in the press release.
