As reported by Crypto.News, Hedera has added support for the ERC-3643 token standard in its Asset Tokenization Studio, alongside the existing ERC-1400 standard. This update allows institutions to issue compliant, modular digital assets tailored to either U.S. or non-U.S. jurisdictions. ERC-3643 provides a globally adaptable framework, enabling on-chain identity and compliance customization, while ERC-1400 targets U.S. equity and bond issuers. The dual-standard approach gives issuers flexibility to meet regulatory and market needs. Dr. Sabrina Tachdjiann of the Hedera Foundation noted that the addition reflects the market's shift toward borderless, customizable tokenization.
