Based on U.Today, Ethereum (ETH) futures have outpaced Bitcoin (BTC) futures in monthly average daily volume (ADV) on the CME derivatives exchange since April 2025. As of October 28, open interest in ETH futures reached 53,183 contracts, while Micro Ether futures hit a record 335,016 contracts. Despite Ethereum's strong performance in derivatives, Bitcoin still dominates the broader spot market with a 59.2% market capitalization share.
