As reported by MarsBit, on December 5, 2025, digital artist Beeple unveiled a series of flesh-colored robot dogs at the Miami Beach Basel Art Show. Each dog wore silicone masks resembling celebrities like Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg, and the seven pieces were sold at $100,000 each to private collectors. The installations continuously capture images and record them on the blockchain, aiming to reinterpret the world from the perspective of these public figures. Beeple emphasized that the work was not intended to mock the celebrities. In 2021, Beeple’s NFT artwork 'Everydays: The First 5000 Days' was auctioned by Christie’s for $69.346 million, setting a record for NFT sales.
