CryptoQuant: 40% of Strategy's Bitcoin Holdings Now at Loss

As per The Crypto Basic, a recent CryptoQuant analysis reveals that 40% of Michael Saylor’s Strategy Bitcoin portfolio is now in loss due to recent purchases. Despite Bitcoin’s 14% drop over the past week, Strategy remains unfazed and continues to buy BTC. On November 17, 2025, the company disclosed purchasing 8,178 BTC for $835.6 million at $102,171 per token. Strategy now holds 649,870 BTC, representing 3.2% of the circulating supply, with a total value of $59.38 billion and an overall profit of 22.7%. However, the latest purchases have led to a $88 million loss within days, contributing to the 40% loss in the portfolio. In November alone, Strategy bought 9,062 BTC for $931.1 million, which is now valued at $827.96 million, representing an 11% loss.
