As reported by Chainthink, Bitcoin mining pool DMND has opened registration to all miners following a completed SOC 2 Type 2 audit and support for Stratum V2. The pool claims the audit verified its security and compliance standards for large-scale miners, while also integrating a streamlined enterprise verification process and 'miner-built block templates.' Stratum V2 provides a mechanism to protect Bitcoin's censorship resistance, allowing miners to generate their own block templates when working with compatible pools and reducing the risk of hashrate hijacking through end-to-end encryption.
