According to CoinJournal, Bitcoin dropped to $106,411 on October 30, 2025, triggering over $1 billion in crypto liquidations. The decline came amid broader market weakness, with the Nasdaq Composite falling over 1.4% and uncertainty over Federal Reserve rate policies. Long positions accounted for most losses, with Bitcoin liquidations alone reaching $424 million. Ethereum and Solana also saw significant losses, at $317 million and $79 million, respectively. Coinglass data shows 237,311 traders were affected, with the largest single liquidation at $21.4 million in BTC-USD on Hyperliquid.
