AMIKO has completed a major blockchain upgrade, migrating its entire platform’s Agent runtime to its self-built open-source framework, OpenHermit. The network upgrade enables existing users to transition seamlessly and allows new users to operate directly on the new architecture. AMIKO’s ecosystem development phase has begun, focusing on identity, productivity, social interaction, and economic systems. OpenHermit supports large-scale production and low-cost Agent deployment. During the beta phase, the community contributed feedback, and the framework is now publicly available on GitHub. This upgrade aligns with recent strategic initiatives, including a partnership with Nonstop and investment from High Ridge Holdings. Developers can now build on AMIKO’s infrastructure, with the goal of establishing it as a general-purpose Agent platform for the AI-native era.

ChainCatcher report: AMIKO has announced the completion of a full-platform Agent runtime upgrade, with its underlying infrastructure migrated to its proprietary open-source architecture, OpenHermit. According to the project team, existing users have been seamlessly transitioned, and new users will now operate directly on the OpenHermit architecture. Simultaneously, AMIKO’s ecosystem development segment has officially entered its open phase. AMIKO is an identity and social infrastructure designed for the AI Agent era, built around four core pillars: identity, productivity, social interaction, and economics. It aims to empower users with AI-powered digital counterparts—AI Twins, Companions, Assistants, and Experts—that can act, communicate, and collaborate on their behalf. OpenHermit is AMIKO’s self-developed open-source Agent runtime, engineered for large-scale, production-grade Agent deployment, enabling stable hosting and cost-efficient continuous operation of vast numbers of Agents. During its private testing phase, OpenHermit has already garnered community discussion and code contributions from global developers. The source code repository is now publicly available on GitHub, and documentation along with quick-start guides can be accessed at openhermit.ai. This upgrade marks the product realization of AMIKO’s recent strategic initiatives. Previously, AMIKO secured strategic investment from U.S.-based tech investment firm High Ridge Holdings and established a strategic equity partnership and comprehensive ecosystem collaboration with Feixiaohao. With the foundational architecture now upgraded, independent developers and professional teams can build and deploy products and services within the AMIKO ecosystem, leveraging its infrastructure spanning identity, productivity, social, and economic layers. AMIKO aims to become the universal Agent infrastructure platform of the AI-native era, enabling seamless flows of identity, productivity, social interaction, and economic value between users and their Agents.
