Antimatter is positioned to be the gateway for defi derivatives and financial NFTs. The project comes with two pieces and solves problems for two sectors.
The first piece of Antimatter is non-oracle based perpetual options. Although there are many models to defi derivatives, few realized that it is not sustainable and less efficient to use oracle price feed for derivatives on chain.The issue with on-chain derivatives is not how you design the contract, it is how you avoid using oracles. Antimatter is tailored for both retail investors with different levels of experience and professionals who need convenient and easy-to-use tools for crypto options trading.
The product focus for Antimatter is that we put simplicity as priority. For on-chain usage and execution, users want less sophistication and more security. From the perspective of a derivatives designer, we are using limited onchain computation and storage to innovate a new derivative product that does not have funding fees, liquidation, nor time frame. This gives users more opportunities to have exposure to leveraged trade while avoiding high risk aspects of leveraged trading.
