KuCoin Partners with Arwen to Bring a Non-Custodial Trading Solution to Experienced KuCoin users
Dear KuCoin Users,
To provide safe and high-quality trading experiences for our users, KuCoin has spared no effort in exploring diversified methods, seeking innovative cooperation and offering users protection by establishing the best centralized and decentralized trading solutions while also utilizing the most advanced security technology in the industry to keep the platform safe.
Today, KuCoin is thrilled to announce that Arwen, in beta, is now live on KuCoin. This new partnership with Arwen will bring enhanced security to KuCoin users. Through their service, users will be able to protect coins in on-blockchain escrows, trade instantly across coin pairs using cross-chain atomic swaps, and settle trades directly to their wallet of choice. Arwen is a Boston-based startup providing non-custodial trading products and securing users’ trading operations.
Arwen facilitates secure trading through self-custody. Rather than depositing coins in the exchange, users will rely on the security of the coin's blockchain itself. Security for trading BTC is provided by the Bitcoin blockchain, while security for trading BCH is provided by the Bitcoin Cash blockchain, etc. With Arwen, there is no need to trust a completely new blockchain.
For now, with the beta version of Arwen, users are able to trade BTC, BCH, and LTC. We recommend users try the Testnet version of Arwen first and then convert to the Mainnet to do real trading. This will ensure that users have a smooth experience while trading.
You can now use your KuCoin accounts on Arwen. (Please make sure you have complete KYC Verification)
*Arwen on KuCoin is not available in the following countries/areas:
United States, Mainland China, Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria, and Crimea.
