What does it mean that Strategy sold 32 bits? At the beginning of the year, Sailor was bragging, “Our company has so much money, paying dividends is no problem at all,” while acting all casual. Why, when Bitcoin hit $60K and then $83K, did he suddenly repay money he’d never bothered to pay back before? This also feels incredibly suspicious. Why? What’s his intention? Yet this same guy, who was casually boasting about having so much money that dividends weren’t a concern, suddenly sells 32 Bitcoins— And now he claims it’s “a preventive shot.” I don’t know the internal details, but isn’t something broken here? Sure, his current cash reserves aren’t negligible—but what if the peg breaks further here? Isn’t it just one moment away? If Strategy collapses, it feels like MetaPlanet and other obscure companies, who’ve been hoarding similarly, will dump their Bitcoins onto the market one after another. No matter how I think about it, Sailor just reeks of something deeply suspicious.
