1. What is KuCoin Convert?

KuCoin Convert is a simple and easy-to-use tool that allows you to quickly convert/swap between different assets. It is particularly suitable for beginners and users seeking fast transactions.

2. What are the advantages of Convert compared to Spot Trading?

Unlike traditional trading methods, Convert eliminates the need to understand the series of operations and complex rules associated with Spot Trading. It greatly simplifies the trading process, allowing you to swap directly between two assets with just one click. With Convert, you can instantly buy/sell crypto assets or make small conversions. The operation is simple, fast, and involves no handling fees.

3. Does Convert charge any fees?

KuCoin Convert does not charge handling fees. Furthermore, Convert locks a quote for you based on the current market price for a short period. However, due to high market volatility, the conversion rate may include a spread. Beyond this, there are no other fees.

4. What is the difference between the 'Market' and 'Limit' modes?

  • Market: You can quickly swap assets at the displayed price, which is the current market price.
  • Limit: You can swap assets at a specified limit price. During its validity period, the swap will execute once the market price reaches your limit price; otherwise, the order will be canceled. Please note that in Limit mode, order execution depends on the market price, market depth, and liquidity. Therefore, even if the market price reaches your limit price, your order might not be executed.

5. Which account funds are used for the Convert function?

Generally, only users who have previously used the KuCoin Pro Version might have this question. For the Lite Version, by default, we only display and utilize assets from the Funding Account. This includes both the deduction of funds for the conversion and the receipt of the new assets, which are processed through the Funding Account. The Lite Version currently only supports operations related to the Funding Account. If a user has assets stored in other accounts, such as the Spot Account, please switch to the Pro Version to use them.
