Users have discovered a suspected SpaceX trading page within the X app, with a displayed price of $135. Leaked screenshots suggest that users may soon be able to buy and sell SpaceX shares directly within X via their linked brokerage accounts.
The screenshot shows the trading page.
The page currently circulating uses the code "$SPCX" along with a trading interface, leading outsiders to interpret that X may be testing the direct integration of investment features into the app.
If this feature is ultimately launched, X's positioning will no longer be limited to a social platform, but will move closer to becoming an integrated application offering content, payments, and investment services.
SpaceX has spurred increased interest.
Market interest has rapidly intensified, partly because product investor Nikita Bier shared screenshots and mentioned, “There are two more surprises.” This statement has further fueled speculation about new features on X.
However, based on the available information, the screenshot only indicates that the relevant page previously appeared in the app and is not sufficient to prove that the feature has entered the official release stage.
X has not yet been officially confirmed.
As of now, X has not publicly confirmed this feature, nor has it stated whether it will be officially launched or provided any timeline.
If true, X’s introduction of private company equity trading within the app would be another step in expanding its financial services ecosystem and could increase user engagement and trading frequency on the platform.
